UDeCOTT is committed to the health, safety and well-being of its employees, clients, customers, suppliers, contractors, the public and other stakeholders. Our objective is to ensure zero harm to any of our stakeholders and to the environment. In order to achieve these objectives, UDeCOTT is committed to:

  • Conduct its operations in compliance with regulations and legislation, such as The Environmental Management Act 2000 and he Occupational Safety and Health Act #1 of 2004 of The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (OSHA) as Amended in Act 3 of 2006
  • Cooperate with all statutory and regulatory bodies
  • Minimise the impact of our operations on the environment
  • Continually review and improve our HSE function, policies and procedures where applicable
  • Provide all members of staff with the information, support and training on all matters related to HSE standards and best practices
  • Provide an suitable level of information and supervision to its contractors related to the company‚Äôs HSE policies and expectations
  • Provide, inspect and maintain safe facilities and equipment
  • Monitor and report all work-related accidents and safety performance with the aim of continuous improvement
  • Use and incorporate sustainable and environmentally friendly processes and technology in its facilities and projects
