Given UDeCOTT’s well-established expertise in restoration projects, The Incorporated Trustees of The Anglican Church in The Diocese of Trinidad and Tobago approached UDeCOTT in early February 2020 to lend its assistance in the restoration of Hayes Court, after observing its recent success with managing such projects in an affordable and timely manner.
Built in 1910 and part of the unique Magnificent Seven buildings around the Queen’s Park Savannah, Hayes Court is classified as a Grade 1 property, which means that it cannot be materially changed, there can no alteration to its shape or form and it cannot be deformed or defaced.
Working within those strict guidelines, the UDeCOTT was able to complete restoration.
Works were completed on February 28, 2023.
