Desperadoes Pan Theatre

The Desperadoes Steel Orchestra received their brand new home in April 2023. Located in the heart of downtown Port of Spain on George Street, UDeCOTT is proud to have managed this project, which will now contribute to the national, cultural and tourism landscape.

This state-of-the-art facility comprises of a two-storey commercial building, a Pan Storage Building with a mezzanine floor, an outdoor concrete-paved pan rehearsal area, spectator stands, high-security fencing, solar lighting, two Guard booths, CCTV cameras, and parking facilities with 78 spots.

The Commercial building includes the following:

• A Lounge area with a bar;
• Five commercial spaces;
• Three storage rooms;
• A Gift shop/Museum Room with a box office space;
• A Classroom;
• A Service Room;
• Two Janitorial rooms;
• An 8 passenger lift.

This project also forms part of the wider Port of Spain Revitalization Project.
