The Diego Martin Sporting Complex

The Diego Martin Sporting Complex was designed and constructed consistent with international standards for multi-purpose, multi-sport facilities for use by communities, individuals, clubs and associations for the conduct of training and organization of recreational activities and sport events.

The completed facility has achieved the following objectives:

1. Designed and Implemented in a manner that will readily accommodate revenue generating initiatives consistent with those envisaged by the MSYA for such a facility;
2. Meets security and functional standards, exhibits modern architectural characteristics, and provides for meaningful participation by a wide cross section of stakeholders;
3. Represent value for money in terms of initial and lifecycle cost, being fit for purpose, durable, easily maintainable, and incorporate energy efficient solutions.

The completed facility provides the following services/amenities:

• Pavilion Seating (General and VIP) in excess of 2000
• Cricket Practice Nets
• Concession Stands
• VIP Lounge
• Media Rooms
• Game Officials Rooms
• Security Surveillance Room
• Facilities for Home and Away Teams
• Outfitted Spaces for Administrative Staff
• Gym
• Parking for 76 vehicles plus team buses
