The development and improvement of vital infrastructure has increased the feasibility for permanent residences in the north coast of Trinidad.
From Maracas to Paria, villages are experiencing significant population growth resulting in large squatter settlements. In response to this need UDeCOTT, through its subsidiary Rincon Development Limited, is overseeing the squatter regularisation process in Las Cuevas Bay Estate area and the planning and managing of the development of 470 acres of land for housing lots and homestead in the area.
The Rincon Land Development site is located along the North Coast Road, and is home to a natural waterfall that is frequented by local hikers and tourists alike. The growing community along the north coast also has a long history of agricultural production and will benefit significantly from infrastructural development.
