The Scarborough Esplanade is home to a variety of public events and a point of interest for tourists in the sister isle Tobago. The facility has greatly enhanced the waterfront in Scarborough and its appeal to the citizenry and visitors to the island.
Construction on this project began in October 2002 and was completed in October 2005. It comprises 16 single-storey vendor’s units, a pavilion, toilet facilities, paved walkways, landscaping and coastal protection works along Milford Road, Scarborough between Sangster’s Hill Road and Steel River.
